"I inherited my passion for jewelry and precious stones from my father, and after working in our family business for a time I decided to take GIA's Graduate Gemologist courses in order to add to my knowledge.

In Vicenza, I found the program to be rigorous and the information up to date, and the challenging and high-powered environment contributed tremendously to my professional development. Within a short time, I had what I wanted: a comprehensive understanding of diamonds and colored stones but above all, solid preparation for working in this fascinating field.

Today, I'm 24 years old and, thanks to the excellent start I got at GIA, I'm working at a job I enjoy in the De Beers office in Antwerp, Belgium."
